Wedding Illustration in France

I create distinctive, hand-drawn artwork for weddings, with a particular focus on the people and places that make your day uniquely yours.

I would absolutely love to help you create the wedding day of your dreams and offer three main services that can help your beautiful wedding memories live on forever:

I am based near Castres, so I work in the Tarn, Occitanie, including Toulouse and Albi, and all across South West France.

Your guests. Drawn by hand in pen and ink.

I photograph your guests during the wedding and draw them from the photographs in my distinctive pen-and-ink style.

There is no need for guests to sit still while I draw them – they carry on enjoying the celebration while I work from their photographs.

Each portrait is individually drawn in pen and ink with ink wash, creating a stylish and recognisable image of the person rather than a generic wedding caricature.

Each guest portrait is drawn on A5 250 gsm smooth white Bristol board using waterproof carbon ink and ink wash.

The finished portrait is placed in protective wrapping, sealed with a little heart sticker and displayed on a small wooden easel for your guest to find and take home.

Prices:

3 hours: €650 – approximately 18-24 guest illustrations
4 hours: €800 – approximately 24-32 guest illustrations
5 hours: €950 – approximately 30-36 guest illustrations
6 hours: €1,100 – approximately 36-42 guest illustrations

After the wedding

If I don't complete every portrait requested during the booked time, I can finish additional portraits afterwards from the photographs taken at the wedding.

These will be free if I haven't met the maximum target. For example, if I create 38 illustrations during a 6-hour booking, I will complete up to 42 at my home studio at no extra cost.

Any additional guest illustrations you may require once the maximum included has been reached will cost:

Individual – €20
Couple – €30

Bespoke Wedding Venue Illustration

Your wedding venue, drawn by hand.

Your wedding venue becomes an original piece of artwork to keep long after the day is over.

I create bespoke pen-and-ink and watercolour illustrations of wedding venues (just like the one below), working from photographs you provide. These will be completed on 300g watercolour paper.

Your venue might be a château, town house, domaine, country residence, farm, barn, church, garden or another location that has meaning for you.

A5 – €175

The original artwork is sent to you carefully protected and ready for framing.

The Guest Canvas

A painting made by everyone you love.

I create the beginning of a personalised artwork inspired by the landscape and surroundings of your wedding.

On the day, your guests help complete it.

They can add painted details, flowers, colours, drawings, words, memories, signatures or little messages – creating an artwork that is completely personalised to your wedding and the people who were there.

You don't need to be artistic. I'll provide the materials, explain what to do and help guests feel comfortable contributing.

Postage or courier costs will be billed separately where required.

After the wedding, I take the artwork away to dry and complete any final finishing touches before returning it to you.

Travel

I am based in Puylaurens in the Tarn and work across South West France, particularly Castres, Toulouse, Albi, and beyond.

Travel within 1.5 hours' driving time from Puylaurens, Tarn, is included.

For weddings further afield, travel is charged at €0.60 per kilometre, calculated from Puylaurens.

For weddings requiring more than 2 hours' travel each way, an overnight stay may be required. Accommodation is charged at €100 per night.
